Nike Dunk High Pro SB "Big Gulp"
Release: December 2008
$120 Size 8 and 10.5
The Nike Dunk High Pro SB "Big Gulp" feature a unique inspiration. When they originally surfaced, many thought about nicknaming them the Coca Colas and the Santa Clause. But since the debate was never settled, Paul Rodriguez’s store Primitive has dubbed them the Nike Dunk SB "Big Gulp" after the famous 7-11 cup size. They feature a predominantly red upper constructed from suede and leather, along with perforations on the quarter panels and toe box for ventilation. The green shoe laces are reminiscent of the green accents used on the Big Gulp cup. They also have a Brown lining just like the Coca Cola inside the Big Gulp.

Nike Blazer Premium SB "Blood Splatter"

Release: October 2009
$100 Size 9
Nike SB will be getting in on the fun with this spooky edition of the SB Blazer High. As you can see, the shoe sports a White suede/canvas upper that has been badly “stained” by a gory blood splattered design. Additional accents are provided by a Grey suede Swoosh and Grey toe cap as well as some more touches of Red on the tongue label, heel tab and lining, but let’s be honest that it’s hard to notice anything but the blood graphics on the upper. Even though these might look like the aftermath of a skate session gone horribly wrong, they manage to still pull off a fresh look.

Nike Dunk Low SB "Top Ramen"

Release: December 2009
$90 Size 9
Nike Skateboarding is always coming up with new inspirations for colorways, especially on the Dunk. This December 2009 Quickstrike was inspired by the famous instant noodles, Top Ramen. Everyone has had their experiences with the inexpensive noodles, but how does the packaging color work on the classic silhouette?
Like the packaging of the instant noodles, most of the Dunk Low is wrapped in orange. Brown and red accents are mixed onto the shoe in various places and speckles make their way on to the inner lining. Representing the noodles is a hemp-like material, which is also the reason for the “Un-hemp” nickname that has also been associated with these Dunks.
Nike Dunk Low Premium SB “Asparagus”
Release: September 2009
$90 Size 9.5
Will Nike ever run out of colorways and inspirations for the Dunk model? The answer is no. First off, this particular Dunk Low contains different dull shades of dark brown and olive green with minimal red accents in the form of the inner lining and midsole. As for the texture makeup, this shoe owns a combination of suede and premium leather. Other features include a splatter design on the heel panel, goldenrod details on the border of the tongue and Nike logo on the heel. The black toe box and swoosh also give the “Asparagus” a nice, contrasting look.
