Nike Dunk Mid Elite SB "Beijing Triumvir x Fly"

The shoes feature a number of different points that are directly inspired by Beijing including the Chinese words, “skate towards Tian An Men Square”. One of the new features from the Nike SB team on their SB shoes is the use of Kevlar shoe laces, which are used on this Dunk Mid, making them a bit more durable than other shoe laces.

Here’s a collaboration Nike SB which features Tokyo skate-themed brand nitraid. The Nike SB Dunk Mid features a colorway done up by nitraid SB’s own Ryujin which features a black upper with digi-camo strap. Little details include contrasting red stitching and liner.

Air Jordan 4 "Mars Blackmon"

The Air Jordan 4 "Mars Blackmon" was dubbed the nickname Air Jordan 4 (IV) Fire Red Mars after the colorway, and after the picture of Mars Blackmon embossed on the heel of the shoe. We have all come to know and love him from his appearances in Air Jordan commercials. These feature a white leather upper with red and black accents.

Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat"

The Air Jordan 4 Retro "Black Cat" feature a simple all black colorway, with a visible air bubble at the heel. They are well known by their plastic mesh located on the side panels and at the bottom of the tongue, along with the notorious style of laceing holes. They came with a poster which featured Michael Jordan’s famous shot over Clevand Cavalier’s Craig Ehlo, which has come to be known as “The Shot”. They were a general release, and sold out easily upon their release.

Nike Dunk Low Pro SB "De La Soul"

The Nike Dunk Low Pro SB "De La Soul" was designed by De La Soul, and the vinyl hologram used on the heel of the shoe stems from their album cover of “3 feet High and Rising“. It is part of a 2 series release, the other being the Nike Dunk High Pro SB "De La Soul." The idea of constructing the shoe from part vinyl was not typically used in the industry, so it helped to make the shoe an instant hit with sneakerheads, paving the way and introducing a new method to the art of shoe designing.

Nike Dunk Low Pro SB "Barfs"

The Nike Dunk Low Pro SB "Barfs" is a Nike SB that not too many people care for, hence the nickname. It features a brown suede upper with blue leather inserts. It features a dark green Nike swoosh and midsole, with the use of gum rubber on the outsole. The colors may not blend well, but the Nike Dunk SB Barf is technologically sound, from the mesh, padded tongue to the Zoom Air insoles. The use of gum rubber on the outsole is ideal for doing tricks, and provides a great board feel.

Nike Blazer Premium SB "Lance Mountain"

The Nike Blazer Premium SB "Lance Mountain" were ubbed the Craig Stecyk/Lance Mountain Blazer SB’s. They were designed by Craig Stecyk, and feature an orange upper constructed from suede and nubuck, along with a a white midsole / laces and slightly off-colour toe cap. Also, the heel area features embroidered details while the inner sole sports some interesting artwork. They are definitely jaw droppers, and make a great addition to any shoe collection.

Nike Blazer Mid SB Elite "Motorcycle Jacket"

The Nike Blazer Mid SB Elite "Motorcycle Jacket" Black / Black - Varsity Red are a collaboration with Nike SB and skate legends Lance Mountain and Craig Stecyk. This Nike SB Blazer Elite features a premium black leather construction and simple white sole. In addition, the inner lining features a diamond- shaped print wich is rumored to be designed after motorcycle jackets.

Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB "Spider Man"

The Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB "Spider Man" were are inspired by the Marvel character Spider Man. The shoe features a red suede construction along with blue leather inserts on the toe box, quarter panels, and heel area. The white midsole is a classic feature of Dunks, while the perforations style on the toe box is a small intricate detail that only some eyes may catch. They are layed out in the same way that a spider web is. These are one of several modeled after classic Marvel characters.

The Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB "Batman" are one of several releases by Nike that are inspired by comic book characters. These are modeled more after the old skool Batman colors, and feature a brown upper along with a black Nike swoosh, yellow inner lining, and classic white midsole. The Nike Dunk Mid version also sports an ankle strap and because these are SB’s, they feature Zoom Air insoles for added comfort.

Nike SB Dunk High "Mr. Todd Bratrud" Quickstrike Release

This pair of Nike Dunk High SB’s were designed by Skate graphic designer Mr. Todd Bratrud. They feature a vibrant colorway which consists of brown, pink, blue, and white. The sport a suede and canvas combination on the upper, and were only be available at select accounts as they have been deemed a Quickstrike.

Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB "Clubber Lang"

The Nike Dunk Mid Pro SB "Clubber Lang" feature a calm white / ice blue color-way which is inspired by Clubber Lang’s boxing trunks and belt. Clubber Lang is a fictional character that appeared as Rocky Balboa’s rival in the 1982 movie Rocky III. He was played by the popular “bodyguard to the stars” Mr. T, who was 25 years old when the film was launched. The character is based on George Foreman in his early career. The ankle strap is typical for Nike Dunk Mid’s while the gum rubber bottom is seen a lot on Nike SB’s, as they provide great traction, making for better board control.

Nike Dunk Low Premium SB "Newcastle Brown Ale"

The Nike Dunk Low Premium SB "Newcastle Brown Ale" are another beer inspired Dunk, the Nike Dunk Low Pro SB Heineken (classic green / black / white / red) being the other. They retailed for $90, and some exclusive retailers went as far as to give a six pack of beer out to the first couple of customers, who had ID of course. They sport a a beige and brown color scheme, along with a blue Nike swoosh, which is the same as the official colors of the Beer company that inspired their design.

These Nike Dunk Low Pro SB "Old Spice" Metallic Silver are not officially endorsed or licensed by the maker of the aftershave Old Spice, but they have still been nicknamed that by sneakerheads. The Old Spice Dunk Lows are very classy and something about this color-way makes them interesting. They feature a nice color combination - off-white, red, blue, gold, similar to the Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro - Olympic. These b-ball classics have been tweaked out to produce a skateboarder's dream shoe.

Nike Dunk Low Pro SB - Melbourne "Gold Rail"

The Nike Dunk Low Pro SB - Melbourne "Gold Rail" are inspired by the city of Melbourne and Flinders Street Station. Their construction is quite unique as they put to use several materials at once including canvas, suede, and mesh. They sport a varsity royal and metallic Vegas gold colorway. Their nickname stems from Melbourne’s Finder Street Station and the Gold Rail, which is one of the more well known skating spots there. The color scheme is also representative of features in Australia. The brown midsole represents the Yurra River while the blue is meant to be Port Phillip Bay. Although they were originally exclusive to Australia, they eventually made their way over to the states.

The Nike Dunk Low Pro SB "Aqua Chalk" has not been dubbed a nickname and is usually referred to by its official colorway. The colors are by James Keoni Arizumi, who also designed the Nike Dunk Hawaii’s and Nike Dunk Lunar. They feature a grey and blue upper constructed from a combination of suede and leather. They also feature a light green/mint midsole and a Nike swoosh.

Nike Dunk Low SB Premium "Space Tiger"

The Nike Dunk Low Premium SB - Space Tiger (Randy Colvin) are part of Nike SB’s July 2008 Collection. They are inspired by the World Industries Space Tiger skate deck designed for and by Randy Colvin. The Dunks feature tiger print on the tongue and insole, as well as a star pattern on the toe box and side panels. Although they are constructed predominantly from black leather, the use of bright and attractive colors definitely help to draw attention to them.


Nike Dunk Low SB "Blue Lobster"

The "Blue Lobster" Dunk serves as the sequel to summer of 2008 original Lobster Dunk, a Nike SB collaboration with Concepts of Cambridge Mass that first released in May 2008. The first “Lobster” was shipped and promoted by the “Concepts Fishing Company,” and came equipped with a poster, lobster claw rubber band, tee shirt and condiment box (replete with lobster shell cracker, fork, bib, wet nap and “butter” shoelaces) all embossed with the “Concepts Fishing Company” logo.
