Nike Dunk Low SB "Top Ramen"

Release: December 2009

$90 Size 9

Nike Skateboarding is always coming up with new inspirations for colorways, especially on the Dunk. This December 2009 Quickstrike was inspired by the famous instant noodles, Top Ramen. Everyone has had their experiences with the inexpensive noodles, but how does the packaging color work on the classic silhouette?
Like the packaging of the instant noodles, most of the Dunk Low is wrapped in orange. Brown and red accents are mixed onto the shoe in various places and speckles make their way on to the inner lining. Representing the noodles is a hemp-like material, which is also the reason for the “Un-hemp” nickname that has also been associated with these Dunks.

Nike Dunk Low Premium SB “Asparagus”

Release: September 2009

$90 Size 9.5

Will Nike ever run out of colorways and inspirations for the Dunk model? The answer is no. First off, this particular Dunk Low contains different dull shades of dark brown and olive green with minimal red accents in the form of the inner lining and midsole. As for the texture makeup, this shoe owns a combination of suede and premium leather. Other features include a splatter design on the heel panel, goldenrod details on the border of the tongue and Nike logo on the heel. The black toe box and swoosh also give the “Asparagus” a nice, contrasting look.
